Retinol and Chemical Peel Duo

We all know that a retinol moisturizer or serum is the most effective anti-aging  skincare products. However, anti-aging isn’t the only thing this powerhouse ingredient provides.

Derived from Vitamin A, retinol was created to treat acne and is well renowned for fading pigmentation, promoting collagen and elastin production, and evening skin tone.

RETINOL CREAM

Our Retinol Serum and Moisturizer contain three types of retinol derivatives.

Retinol, the most famous and commonly used; Retinyl Palmitate, the lightest retinol derivative, perfect for sensitive and dry skin; and Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, the newest member of the retinol family that unlike the other two, does not need time to convert to retinoic acid which minimizes any uncomfortable side effects.

As it can bind directly to the receptors allowing a cascade of events to take place which produce the anti-aging effects.

All combined makes our products easy to use for beginners and effective in providing the best anti-aging results.

RETINOL CREAM BEST PRACTICES

If you’ve never used retinol, it is best to start small, applying every other night.
Because there is possible drying from the use of retinol, we suggest pairing our Retinol Serum or Moisturizer with our Hyaluronic Collagen Sheet Mask or Hydrogel Collagen Sheet Mask.

Once fully absorbed, pop on a sheet mask to rehydrate and add even more nutrition back into your skin.

RETINOL FRIENDLY SHEET MASKS

Our sheet masks are made with aloe vera, chamomile, edelweiss, and purslane as anti-inflammatory agents, which pair well with any dryness and sensitivity that may occur when using retinol.

Collagen, argireline, and hyaluronic acid are also added for their firming and anti-aging effects.
Overall, when used in conjunction with retinol, these two products will be all-stars in any skincare routine.
